It is his passion to serve people that are why he sought for the Office of the Barangay Chairman in Barangay Roosevelt and won the same for the first time on October 1997. He was re-elected and successfully completed his term of office for almost 13 years and gained the title of a “Drug Buster” because during his post in the barangay, he assures that no illegal drug operation is conducted.

To continue his desire to serve the people, he decided to run as Municipal Councilor of the Municipality and he successfully gained the position in the last 2010 local election and re-elected on his 2nd term on CY 2013.

Now, as mandated by the people of Dinalupihan, he is performing his duties and responsibilities given to him by doing his best to serve the public even in little way he can. As for him, Politics is only a stepping stone to help the people and give them the way to easily reach out government officials and remove the notion that politics is about power. To him, politics is about public service.

Currently, he holds the chairmanship of the Committee on Peace & Order in the 8th Sangguniang Bayan. That with his ability as a Drug Buster, he can promotes peace and harmony in the whole town of Dinalupihan by proposing legislative measures that will address illegal drugs, criminality and other forms of lawlessness.

He was born in Dinalupihan, Bataan on May 12, 1968. Fourth out of 5 of string by his parents namely, Rosito Alonzo Soriano and Teresita Penaflor Austria, my father worked abroad in Jeddah Saudi Arabia at DR. Soliman Fakeen Hospital while my mother is a stay home businesswoman. I had my Primary Education at Dinalupihan Elementary, School from 1975 to 1981, went to Saint John Academy from my high school from 1981 to 1985 and in 1990 got a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Saint Jude College Manila. I’ve always been clear about education, I put into the minds of everyone that it is the key to life.

I am proudly married to the late Ma. Teresa M. Buniag-Soriano, a Physician and former Municipal Health Officer of Dinalupihan. We are blessed with two children, a Son named Dawn Steven B. Soriano and a Daughter named Donna Stella B. Soriano.

After graduated college, I took the responsibility to take care of my family. I had a few small businesses such as mini grocery store and carwash. I even had a taxi which I personally drive sometimes, me and my family stayed in manila because I think it is for the better. I am also known in my barangay as a friendly person, easy to get along with and a person who sticks to this own principle.
In year 2000, I worked abroad at the same hospital my father worked in Dr. Soliman Fakeen Hospital I needed to push myself for the sake of my family and to gain work experience as well. But the feelings of “The Ultimate Measure of a Man is not where he stands in moments of comport, but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy”
Away from my family keeps haunting me every day, especially the idea of my pregnant wife near to her delivery date. The feelings made me decide to go home and take my father with me because he’s been working there for so many years.

In 2005 I and my family settled in Dinalupihan, my home province. I worked there as an on call nurse in J.C Payumo Memorial District Hospital. I am also the Hospital E.C.S Technician. Me being a nurse, and my wife being a doctor decided to make our own small clinic which I worked as a assistant nurse as well.

In 2007, I work as a consultant at the Office of the Vice Governor of Bataan namely Seraffin Roman. I worked there for three years up until I decided to run for Municipal Councilor in dinalupihan, it was 2010 when I first ran for Governance with faith to the Lord God. I won. It was my first term as a Municipal Councilor and in 2013, I was elected for my 2nd term as a public servant and I hold the Chairmanship of the Committee on Tourism, Trade and Industry. Committee on Cooperative and NGO and Committee on Foreign and Inter-LGU Relationship. I was elected as the Secretary General of the Philppine Councilor’s League (PCL) Bataan Delegate. A associate member of National Movement of Young Legislator (NMYL). A trustee member of the Knights of Columbus 6372 (4th degree) and present President of SPHINX Family (Brotherhood Organization Dinalupihan).

Being a public servant, my goal is the continuinity of good Governance and by extending efficient and effective service through initiated various programs and projects.
